UVic Food For Thought has worked with Sam Gambling and others to create the Humane Food Guide – Victoria. This is an online resource for finding farms that practice more humane forms of agriculture, and stores from which meat, dairy, and eggs from these farms can be purchased.
This resource is an ongoing, evolving work. We could use all the help we can get to help expand the list to include all restaurants in Victoria serving more humane animal products, to add stores currently missing, to complete product listings in all stores, etc. Please contact us if you would be interested in helping out!
